Paris

We arrived in Paris by TGV from Marseille and took a taxi to our Hotel du College de France in the 5th, where our room was waiting for us.

We then walked to la rue de Rivoli to repair my husband's watch wrist. There were crowds of people shopping and it was difficult to walk.

After that we walked through the Carousel du Louvre and to Rive Gauche for diner at Le Clement. Onion soup was delicious, followed by a boeuf bourguignon for my husband, duck confit for me accompanied by a delicious mashed potatoes and a croque seigneur for our son.
 

In the morning we decided on batobus, but during our first tour a light rain started for a few minutes, the first drops of our 1 month vacation. We managed to complete anther tour in the afternoon when the weather was better. It was not our first time in Paris, but it is always beautiful, even in the rain.
