Vaison la Romaine

We couln't visit Vaison last year althogh we stayed in Seguret. It was 50C, so hot. This year it wasn't much cooler, but close to 40C probably. The rocks are getting really hot there, but we visited still. It is better to arrive early in the morning, but we got lost after avoiding Uzes rush hour, an arrived to Vaison at around 11AM. Foun parking then walked up the hill.

The old village is very pretty.

We then had a surprisingly good meal at the local cafe, and it wasn't expensive.

On the road and Uzes

We had a meal at one o the freeway restaurants, not bad really. Then continued to Abbaye de Fontroide close to Narbonne, then to Uzes.

This was on the road after visiting the Abaye.

In Uzes we could park our car on the outside of the building, but we had the parking included with the apartment.
We swam in the pool, then walked to the old town. People were playing petanque.

It was windy n Carcassonne, but the wind was warm, so we sat outside and right in front of the castle.
